And so, the mountain and the god remained friends for many cycles, for many lives...

 

The world wore on with time, but the friendship between Kailasa and Shiva never did. Shiva and his family remained at the mountain's side. Both, god and mountain, relied on each other's advice and company throughout their time. No one climbs up to Kailasa's face, but the villagers and the pilgrims in the temple can at times hear the hearty laughter of the mountain and the god.
